Position: Product QA Engineer Role Overview

As a Product QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our products. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to identify issues early and maintain high-quality standards throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand product requirements and translate them into detailed test cases
  • Perform manual testing of web and product features
  • Identify, report, and track bugs using issue-tracking tools
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to resolve issues
  • Conduct regression testing before releases
  • Ensure product functionality, usability, and performance meet expectations
  • Maintain and update test documentation
  • Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in Product or Software QA (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of QA processes and testing methodologies
  • Experience with manual testing for web-based applications
  • Good knowledge of SDLC and STLC
  • Ability to write clear test cases and bug reports
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality

Good to Have

  • Experience with automation testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and APIs
  • Experience using tools like Jira, Trello, or similar
